I’m Peppa pig.我是佩奇。

Peppa: Ready! 准备好了。

Mummy Pig: Yes, Daddy Pig, were ready. 准备好了，我们可以出发了。

Ah. But the car isnt ready! 啊，但车还没有准备好。

Daddy Pig: Oh, its not too bad. 我觉得没有很糟啊。

Mummy Pig:We must clean the car before we go for a drive. 在我们出发之前必须把车子清洁干净。

Peppa: I will wash the mud off. 让我来把泥洗掉吧。

Daddy Pig: Peppa, dont use the...muddy water. 佩奇别用那个肮脏的泥水。

Narrator: Oh, dear! 哦，糟糕。

Peppa has thrown the muddy water all over the car. 车子被佩奇用泥水，撒了个遍。

Peppa: Oh. 糟糕。

Daddy Pig: Never mind. We can use the gardenhose to clean it off. 没关系，我们用花园的水管把它冲干净。

Mummy Pig: Peppa! Stop! 佩奇，停下来。

Peppa: Sorry, Mummy. 对不起，妈妈。

[佩奇举起水管喷向空中，又不小心把自己也喷湿了]

Peppa: Oh. 噢

Mummy Pig: Daddy Pig! Please turn off the water! 猪爸爸，请你快点把水龙头关掉。

Daddy Pig: Oh! No need to panic. 哦 不用太担心。

Narrator: Oh, dear, everyone is wet. 哦，天哪。大家都被淋湿了。

Daddy Pig: At least the car has been washed. 至少我们的车干净了。

Mummy Pig: Weve all been washed. 我们也都被洗干净了。

Daddy Pig: You go and dry yourselves while I polish the car. 你们去弄干衣服，我来擦擦车。

Mummy Pig: What a lovely, shiny car. 真是辆闪闪发亮的好车。

Daddy Pig: Yes, Iam a bit of an expert at these things. 没错，洗车这种事情我可是专家。

Mummy Pig: Come on, Ill drive today. 来吧，今天我来开车。

Daddy Pig:Is everybody ready? 大家准备好了？

All: Ready! 好了。

Daddy Pig: Then let’s go! 现在我们出发吧。

Mummy Pig: I hope you will allkeep this car clean today. 希望你们能一直让车这么干净。

Peppa: Yes, Mummy Pig. 好的，妈妈。

Peppa: Mummy, now youve made the car all muddyagain. 妈妈，现在可是你把车子弄脏了哦。

Tips:

1.Naughty

猪爸爸的车从里到外都是脏兮兮的，猪妈妈看见了就说Naughty, messy Daddy! 真不像话！脏兮兮的爸爸。

Naughty我们都知道是淘气的意思，这个词如果形容小孩子就是调皮捣蛋的，不听话的。当然这个词也可以用在成年人身上，不过就多了一种开玩笑的感觉。

这集动画片中当猪爸爸和猪妈妈做错事情的时候，大家就纷纷用naughty这种玩笑的口吻来表达你做错事情了。

2.Drop和throw

这集中同时出现了drop和throw的用法：

George has droppedhis sponge in a muddy puddle.

Peppa has thrown the muddy water all over the car.

这两个词虽然都是丢东西的意思，但是用法却不太一样。

Drop主要指东西自己掉了下来，或者不小心把什么东西掉了出来。而throw则是人故意丢出去的。

比如：

Oops. The key’s dropped. 糟糕，钥匙掉下来了。

She threw the key into the water. 她把钥匙丢进了水里。

3.Right you are.

Right you are. 是You are right.的倒装，意思就是好的，你说的对。这个表达在猪爸爸修电脑的那一集中也出现过。

4.Turn on the water

猪爸爸把水龙头打开，Daddy Pigs turns on the water. 后来猪妈妈又让猪爸爸赶紧把水关上，Please turn off the water.

Turn on/off the water，这个固定搭配我们之前也见过好几次了。
